31 year lady,Constable Peace Agbemafo, a female Ghanaian police officer has committed suicide, reportedly over being dumped by her lover.
It was gathered that she killed herself with an AK-47 assaultrifle, with which she shot herself in the throat.
The Garu-Tempane District Police Commander, ASP Alexander Tieku, was quoted as saying that someone had promised to marry her and reneged on the promise. “

A pregnant woman has revealed the shocking burns she sustained after she allegedly fell asleep with her iPhone 7 on her arm.
Melanie Tan Pelaez had been watching films on her iPhone, which was being charged at the time, when she dozed off.
When she woke, she was shocked to see that she’d been left with an imprint of the phone andcharger etched into her skin.
She claims she also experienced ‘sudden pain, pins and needles, numbness and shortness of breath’. Sharing the photo on Facebook, the 34-year-old, from Australia, wrote:
‘This is a picture of the result of sleeping with my phone whilst charging.’ She told news.com.au: ‘I went to get dressed and
realised my arm was very red, so I then went to the GP and they advised me I needed to go straight to the hospital.
‘The hospital did a number of tests and told me the mark was a burn from a foreign object and told me to check around my bed to see what could be the cause of the injury.’
After visiting a doctor, the 34-year-old was told she had sustained ‘superficial burns’ on her upper arm, after she ‘slept on her mobile telephone – iPhone 7’.

A woman has been arrested after police found tigers, a cougar and other exotic animals in the.home she shared with her teenage daughter.
Trisha Meyer, who was charged with child
endangerment, was arrested last week in
Nevada.
Police raided her home after a complaint
that she failed to deliver on the $3,000 sale of an exotic kitten. There they found a number of adult tigers and cougars walking around the home.
A skunk, monkeys and a fox were also found inside the property. Officers reported that her 14-year-old daughter
was petting some of the exotic animals.
However upon inspection, Meyer only had
permits for the tigers. Police claim Meyer admitted the tigers were large enough to be dangerous and that the monkeys could be vicious. She is currently being held in custody on $2,000 (£1,600) bail.

Crimes Commission, EFCC through its
Facebook page announced the conviction of an internet fraudster popularly regarded as ‘Yahoo Boy’ for a paltry sum of $250.
A Federal High Court, sitting in Benin-City,
Edo State has convicted and sentenced to 18 months imprisonment one Collins Osadolor alias Albert Lin.
Osadolor was first arraigned by the
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on 13 November, 2015 on a three count charge bordering on possession of fraudulent document containing false pretenses.
Specifically, he defrauded an American lady, identified as Karry the sum of $250 (Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars) which he
admitted and refunded.
Upon his arraignment, the convict pleaded not guilty to the charge, but later changed.his plea to ‘guilty’’.
Justice P. I. Ajoku consequently convicted
Osadolor and sentenced him to 18 months imprisonment without an option of fine. One of the count read:
“Collins Osadolor alias Albert Lim on or
about the 27th of August 2015 in Benin
City, Edo State within the jurisdiction of
this Honourable Court had in your
possession in your email inbox folder a
fraudulent document containing a false
pretence dated 5th August 2015 with the
subject: ‘Re: Hello’ which you knew to be
false pretence and thereby committed an
offence contrary to section 6 of the
Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related
Offences Act 2006 and punishable under
section 1(3) of the same Act”.

Three academics have spoken speculatively about what we could possibly expect if the Republican candidate clinches victory in the
US election – and the outlook is not good.
Civil unrest, legal challenges and the potential of a ‘cozy up’ to Russian president Vladimir Putin are all concerns voiced by professors Scott Lucas, Iwan Morgan and Mike Cullinane.
‘My feeling is that Trump is going to treat the presidency as the equivalent of a CEO position – and it isn’t that,’ Professor Morgan, who lectures US Studies at University College London, told the Press Association.
‘The presidency has to be held by someone who understands the necessity for persuasion, it isn’t a place for command.’
He said everything he has seen about Mr
Trump makes him ‘worry he doesn’t quite
understand’ that being president is a ‘system of checks and balances between co-equal branches of government’.
Professor Lucas, a US citizen who teaches American Studies at the University of Birmingham, said with Mr Trump as president of the free world ‘god knows what you get’.
‘He is completely unpredictable, he is
incoherent – I have not heard him express a coherent thought on foreign policy in his campaign,’ he said.
‘He talks in slogans, but that doesn’t actually make a policy.’
Professor Lucas added: ‘I think with Trump we are into the realm of the unknown, and the unknown is never good for stability – in foreign policy and international relations to say
the least.’

There was a huge rise in people searching ‘how to emigrate to Canada’, presumably by desperate Americans who fear living under a Trump presidency, causing the website to crash.
People trying to access the site were greeted by a long loading page or an error message, rather than the usual application information.The Canadian Immigration site just crashed.

President Obama has revealed the First Lady is more than ready to move on.
In an interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Monday, President Barack Obama spoke candidly about his time in office and
jokingly revealed that his wife Michelle once gave him a stern warning against him seeking a third term.
He said “Personally, for me, if I were able to run for a third time, Michelle would divorce me,” Obama joked as the crowd burst into laughter. “So it’s useful that I don’t have that choice to make.”
“[Michelle] is spectacular but [she] was never wild about politics,” Obama said.
“Michelle once explained to me: ‘I try to organize my life not to have a lot of mess around and politics is just a big mess.’”
Their daughters Sasha and Malia are also on board with mom.
“All the women in my life are looking forward to being able to live a more normal life,” Obama admitted.
A marriage broke down in just two hours
because a wife started sharing pictures on Snapchat, it has been reported.
The Saudi bride and groom are said to have had a binding agreement not to share pictures over Snapchat of the ceremony.
But according to the bride’s brother the
agreement was broken. He told Okaz: ‘There was a prenuptial agreement between my sister and her fiancé
that she would not use social-media
applications such as Snapchat, Instagram or Twitter to post or send her pictures.
‘It was included in the marriage contract and became binding. Regretfully, my sister did not honour the pledge and used Snapchat to share pictures from the wedding ceremony with her female friends, resulting in the shocking decision by the groom to cancel their marriage
and call for divorce.’
The bride’s family said that the agreement had been unfair while the groom’s relatives said he was within his rights to file for divorce. Even after two hours.
